Gomukh

Gomukh is the source of River Ganga, considered the holiest river in India. The source of the river is a glacier, depicted here. It is shaped like the snout of a cow - hence the name. We traveled to this heavenly location a few years back.

  1. I really like this style of yours, similar in feel to "Pain, Hope, and Expectation!" This ones peaceful and almost surreal ... Must have been an awesome experience seeing it life!

  2. Seema - It was a great sight, but at that point we were really tired :-) after an 18km pony ride. Thanks for the link - I'll see where that leads to. One of the people mentioned in it - Suresh Jayaram - was my teacher at CKP.
